INTERNATIONAL PURCHASES & SHIPPING POLICY (B2B)

Shipping Method

We understand that timely and reliable delivery is critical in a B2B environment, especially when handling high-value collectible products.

For this reason, we partner with trusted logistics providers, including DPD, DHL, UPS, and PostNL, to ensure efficient and secure worldwide delivery.

Shipping methods are assigned by Iron Studios based on destination, order volume, and operational considerations. Customers do not select the carrier during checkout.

Once the order is processed, tracking information will be provided as soon as the shipment is dispatched.

Please note that delivery times are indicative only and may vary due to external factors beyond Iron Studios’ control, including customs clearance procedures and local import regulations.

International Shipping Charges

Shipping costs are calculated based on dimensional weight and destination country.

Taxes, VAT & Import Duties

For European Union (EU) B2B orders:

As a Portuguese company, Iron Studios applies Portuguese VAT rules.

  • VAT is charged on orders delivered within Portugal.
  • For B2B customers established in other EU countries with a valid VAT number (VIES registered), orders may be processed under intra-Community supply rules (reverse charge mechanism), where applicable. In such cases, VAT is not charged at checkout.
  • If a valid VAT number is not provided or is not valid, Portuguese VAT will be applied in accordance with legal requirements.

For countries outside the European Union:

Prices displayed on our website do not include local import taxes, customs duties, or VAT applicable in the destination country.

These charges, if applicable, are determined by local authorities and are the responsibility of the importer (customer). They are not collected or controlled by Iron Studios.

We recommend that customers verify applicable import regulations, taxes, and duties in their country prior to placing an order.

Customs Classification

Iron Studios uses harmonized system (HS) codes deemed appropriate for the export of our products. However, local customs authorities retain full discretion to reclassify goods or adjust applicable duties and taxes.

If you believe any classification or charge is incorrect, please contact your local customs office or carrier directly for review.

Refusal of Delivery / Unpaid Import Charges

If a shipment is refused or not cleared due to unpaid import duties, taxes, or customs fees, the customer will remain responsible for all related costs, including:

  • Return shipping fees charged by the carrier
  • Any customs or handling charges incurred by Iron Studios

Upon return of the goods to our warehouse, a refund will be issued excluding:

  • Original shipping costs
  • Return shipping costs
  • Any applicable handling or customs-related charges incurred

For pre-orders, any non-refundable deposit will also be retained.

If the returned shipment cannot be successfully received at our warehouse, no refund will be issued.
