Thor was created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee in 1962, Chris Hemsworth gives life to Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Thor is the prince of Asgard, Son of Odin, and God of Thunder. He is arrogant and impulsive. Odin sent Thor as a punishment to Earth to teach him a virtue: humility. Thor owns the magic hammer Mjölnir and is a founding member of the Avengers as one of Marvel’s most powerful superheroes.
After losing Mjölnir in Ragnarok and helping create his new weapon Stormbreaker to confront Thanos in Infinity War, Thor could not stop Thanos on his own. In Avengers: Endgame, Thor returns alongside to the remaining superheroes to reverse the Decimation Thanos caused.
